This necklace is adapted from an original handmade ring in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London that dates to the early 15th century. It was probably made in England, although the poesy inscription is in French as French remained the language of the English nobility until the late 1400s. The letters are engraved in a Gothic script, surrounded by floral patterns and inscribed decorations on an organic shape that invites the touch. The power and simplicity of its declaration of love has great appeal making it a wonderful anniversary or Valentine's gift.
All designs are gift boxed. Story cards are included that provide detail about the history behind each piece.
Pendant is 7/8" long and the included chain is 18" long.
Made in the USA.
