Shema Prayer Sterling Silver Necklace

T. S. Brown Jewelry

Inscribed Shema Prayer in Hebrew and a portion in English: Hear Israel * the Lord is our G-d * the Lord is one.

Considered the most important prayer in Judaism, it is both an affirmation of faith and a declaration of belief in one G-d. The entire Shema (or sh'ma) consists of the daily prayers that commences with Shema Yisrael and comprises Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 11:13-21, and Numbers 15:37-41. This unusual necklace has been finely engraved with lines of the V'ahavta [Deuteronomy 6:5-9], the first portion of the prayer. The two letters ayin E and dalet D are enlarged in the first sentence, together forming the word 'eid', meaning 'witness', a testament to the sovereignty of G-d.

Sterling silver pendant is 1" wide and comes with an 18" sterling silver chain.

Made in the USA.

All designs are gift boxed.  Story cards are included that provide detail about the history behind each piece.
