'En bien emer' poesy ring (French: ' Encircle with Love')

T. S. Brown Jewelry

The original gold poesy ring from which this piece was modeled is now in the collection of the British Museum. This ring is a flat hoop engraved in period French, then antiqued to reflect the original piece. Between the words are engraved flowers with seemingly happy, radiant suns. There is no direct translation into contemporary English, but the poesy 'en bien emer' can be interpreted as meaning: 'to guard', or, 'to encircle with love', a beautiful thought for anyone in love. A French influenced ring for personal use or to celebrate matrimony.

All rings are gift boxed.  Story cards are included that provide detail about the history behind each design.
