Most of our gemstones are "calibrated", which means they have been cut to exacting standard sizes to make mounting them much easier and less expensive. Many gems come in a variety of colors and shades, so feel free to specify color preference, for example "deep purple amethyst". Most gems can be shipped in less than a week.
